A two-day training programme for faculty members from different universities, colleges, and polytechnics was organised by Academic Development and Research Cell during August 19, 2016 – August 20, 2016. The topics for the programme focused on: Education Philosophy – Present and Past, Changing Role of Faculty, Addressing Large Classrooms, Art of Classroom Presentation, Digital Era Tools for Teaching-Learning, Assessing Classroom Effectiveness, and Effective Student Mentoring. Twenty faculty members from different constituent Institutes of Nirma University and twenty three faculty members from Institutes like Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar; D D Thakar Arts and K J Patel Commerce College, Khedbhrama; LCIT College, Mehsana; S B Polytechnic and K J Institute of Engineering and Technology, Savli; and Charotar University of Science, Changa participated in the training programme.
